Hi, I’m Michele—the heart, hands, and unapologetic sass behind Maison Hearth. I’m a mom to three amazing kids, a grandma to five absolutely adorable grandchildren, and I live in Western New York (yes, very far from New York City 😉) with my husband of 12 years—whom you’ll often hear me lovingly call Mr. Pita. Life handed us a curveball seven years ago when he survived a stroke, and while it could have been so much worse, it reshaped our world in ways we didn’t expect. We tease, we laugh, we give each other ridiculous nicknames, and we keep choosing joy, sometimes loudly, sometimes quietly, always together.

After years in retail and restaurant life, Maison Hearth became my way back to myself. It’s where I share comfort food that actually gets made, creative projects that don’t require sainthood-level patience, and a home that’s cozy, clean, and clearly lived in. We’re far from perfect over here, but we laugh often, love deeply, and believe a warm home is built with heart, humor, and a little sass.
